Firefox sync still reverts to old information. I have followed the tips and still not working.
I have followed the tips here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-sync-troubleshooting-and-tips
...with still no luck.
Everytime I click the sync button (under the 3 horizontal bar option button), I get all the old information. I can't seem to "push upward" the information I currently have. So I lose bookmarks, addons, settings, etc.
I have firefox.com and mozilla.org both allowing cookies. I have adblock edge disabled on both firefox.com and mozilla.org. And I'm not clearing saved passwords.
The only thing I question is that I'm running "better privacy" to delete LSO's. Is this likely the source of the problem?

Hi tgm1024, Sync merges the data synced between devices. In order to push the new changes, the other data would need to be removed. This might explain the old settings syncing.
One thing to add that if you would like to check if it is the LSOs, there are more detailed logs in the about:sync-logs* How do I turn on sync logs:
- Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
- Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
- Logs and error messages will be located here
Please also use pastebin.mozilla.org for sharring any errors that relate to this issue.
Thank you.
I'll try the sync logs. But I don't understand your comment about the older settings always coming down.
All sync algorithms operate by date. If the local date stamp of a deletion, alteration, or addition is past the current update stamp, then the deletion, alteration or addition should be pushed.
This *used* to work until roughly a year ago I think, but cannot be sure because I haven't kept track of it.
11 months ago a new version of Sync came out with Firefox 29 - doesn't work the same as it did a year ago.
Try to change the password of the sync account to reset all data stored on the server or remove and recreate the Sync account.
