Ever since I have upgraded to version 38.05, my firefox keep crashing. I have tried safe mode, disable all plugins, uninstalling (and removing all files on my windows) and reinstall and also updating my graphics cards but nothing of this solution have resolve the issue. Sometimes it seems to be better (doesnt crash as quickly) but ultimately it will still crash every time i use it and it's getting too hard to ignore this problem

I am desperate for support as i have tried everything i know. pls let me know what are the steps i should really take.

Hi, the crashes seem to be caused by dlumd32.dll = DisplayLink Core Software v4.3.8432.0 More info here. Perhaps you could stop or remove it to see if it is the culprit.

And nvwgf2um.dll = NVIDIA Compatible D3D10 Driver, Version 258.96 More info here.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for identifying the cause but I am still not sure what I can do. I tried visiting the site links and reading the information. Also tried downloading the program as mentioned but I am still not sure how to fix it.

Can you advise a more detail steps that i can take? I already tried scanning and fixing all registry but it still crashes.

Cheers, Karen

Hi, you could see if DisplayLink Core Software is running in the PC's Task Manager as linked to above, and click on End Process to stop it. You can start the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

You could also try searching for it in the Start Menu, or you could also look for it in your PC's Programs and uninstall it.

For the graphics issue, updating drivers might help. More here - Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL.
