I'm running Firefox under Linux Mint. Linux Mint support only these search engines: http://www.linuxmint.com/searchengines.php

I tried to change to Google via config but i can't, none of the guides fits. keyword.url = 'keyword.URL;http://www.google.com/search?&q='

Is there any other solution? if not I won't be able to use FireFox any more.

Type about:preferences#search<enter> in the address bar. Choose whatever engine you want as your default.

I don't think you understand. If I click "add more engines" i'm refered to: http://www.linuxmint.com/searchengines.php

there u can see that there is no GOOGLE!

I need to do that: http://www.linuxmint.com/searchengines/anse.php?sen=Google&c=y

but i don't see anything in the upper right corner as they say.

You can install any search engine that you want from here: http://mycroftproject.com/

The Mycroft Project used to be hosted by MozDev (connected to free hosting that Mozilla provided to many related projects), until recently.

You're not limited to the meager offerings from the Linux Mint website.
