Hi there! I've been using another browser, Maxthon, for enough now. It's that to leave that buggy, crap piece of software behind FOREVER! It has all the features but the browser and is wow, I just really don't recommand it.

And as an alternative Firefox looks very good! And it seems to load to VERY fast as well.

But I need to browse privately all the time. By this I mean, for example, in Maxthon I login just as I can login here on Firefox browser but on maxthon if I'm logged in to the browser, then automatically my logins to youtube, gmail, facebook are saved there as well. If I need to give the computer to someone I just need to close the maxthon browser completly or sign out. Than all my bookmarks, logins on websites like gmail, google, etc, saved passwords, and such other things are gone as well. Everything remains private for me. No need to worry about anything and most people may not even know that I have a whole bunch of logins, passwords and bookmarks hidden away with just a login.

Can I do something like this on Firefox? I exported nad imported by bookmarks into Firefox, made an account, got a nice theme, addons yada yada but now I see when I log out gmail is still on...

I would really love the Firefox browser as it's already downloaded on most pc in internet caffees nowadays.

If this is not possible may I please have suggestion for a browser that can do this other than Maxthon? I do not even know what that is called, "browser with private sessions" ?? So I am in trouble even searching for a browser that does this. Really apprreacite replies, thank you!

hi Pirate4L, i think that's what different user accounts on the level of the operating system are for: How do I share Firefox between people on a computer?

Hey philipp, thanks for you answer, but no that's not exactly what I am looking for. I know what you mean but I don't have a personal computer, so I cannot make a new user and keep itfor myself only. I need to take all my stuff to any computer. In Maxthon even if LogOff from any device, if I then go to any computer download it and log in I will still have all my preferences/cookies/bookmarks/logins/etc.

So far from what I see in Firefox the closest option to this is to back up my profile folder in a cloud somewhere and make use of that when I need it right?

As long as we are talking about Windows machines then consider the third party Firefox portable
