Will Mozilla Firefox continue to be robust without Ms Win if I delete Ms Win?

more options

I have attempted to install Linux distros over the past year and Ms throws up trojan "errors" that stop "grab" and thus installations. The only success is Firefox from the Mozilla webpage link yet it is dependent on links to Google Chrome. For me Ms Win has used up its usebydate. So I am ready to delete Ms Win from my System and install OpenSource/Linux Canonical instead. Is Mozilla robust enough for me to do that?

I don't understand what you mean by that. If you want Firefox for any operating system, you can use this page: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/. (Some distributions also offer a Firefox package, although it may be pre-customized and slightly less up-to-date.) If you want a Linux download, you can find it on its official site.

Mozilla, the maker of Firefox, has no involvement in installing your operating system.

Firefox on Linux is a bit different from Windows because there are different shells/interfaces on Linux and community-sourced parts may be less consistent than getting everything from one company. But it's largely the same.

I assume you will make excellent backups of your Firefox profile so you won't lose everything. For more information: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.
