Why can I not get my Yahoo mail after changing my Yahoo password ?

more options

Yesterday I changed my Yahoo email password and since then Thunderbird does not seem to find any mail from Yahoo, old or new. The account shows up, no folders show in the folder pane. And when I click Read Messages is says there are no messages to download. Email is working fine using the Yahoo app on my tablet and using Yahoo Mail in Firefox.

I never got a dialog telling me my Yahoo login failed and asking me to enter my new password. But I do get an error message sometimes that says " The current operation on "Inbox" did not succeed ...... [CLIENTBUG] SELECT Command is not valid in this state." So does anyone know what is going on here ? Thanks

Google Yahoo clientbug and try what other Yahoo users have done to fix it. This is just another example of how messed up Yahoo is. You are in good company.
