Please add hide/show tab api, so that tab groups can be re-implemented.

Tab groups are an ESSENTIAL FEATURE. Without an api to show/hide (NOT CLOSE -- HIDE), tab groups are not able to be implemented. Please add a hide/show tab api, so that tab groups can be re-implemented.

Support Volunteers can't make changes to Firefox and the developers do not directly monitor this site. To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest:

hey, i've just chatted with someone from the addons team and improved apis for tab handling are on top of their priority list for the coming months...
