Put in sleep mode screen will sleep first but then the cpu will not sleep it will turn it self back on. Was having problem a few days before the update that foxfire was having trouble starting after a sleep mode. I had to take the cpu down and back up.

I do not know. Seen same issue on a Win 10 and it had it's Bios all out of wack and needed to go through and reset it back up and a Refresh of Windows. Corrupted files can do that. If started before then it was not the update causing that issue.

"I had to take the cpu down and back up. " I have no idea what this means.

Can check and do a reinstall :

Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
