I have five email accounts on Thunderbird and would like to have a single 'deleted' folder for all five under Local Folders, not five individual 'deleted' folders. How do I do this? The account settings offer me only the options of sending deleted messages into folders within each separate account, whereas sent messages and junk messages can be sent to folders under Local Folders

I am assuming at least some of your accounts are IMAP so you can not use the global inbox for your mail.

The next best approach is to use the unified folder view which provides a top level folder that combines all your accounts, and list the individual account folders as sub folders.
