Can I restrict history syncing from a device?
I tried searching the forums but I couldn't find an answer. I have 3 devices: office laptop, personal laptop and personal mobile. I want my logins and bookmarks to be synced in all 3 devices. For the history, I want my 2 personal devices to sync each others' history but I don't want my personal devices' history syncing in to my office laptop. Nice to have is, if I could sync my office laptop's history into my 2 personal devices, but this one is not that important. Is this possible?
What does the checkbox in the sync options mean? For example, if the checkbox for history is ticked, does that mean I want this device's history to sync to other devices, or does it mean I want to receive other devices' history into this device. I'm not sure what will be the behavior if one device has History checkbox checked and another device has History unchecked.

That is controlled per device in Sync options.

History is either selected, or not. There is no "one way" control; IOW you can't send history to the Sync server while not receiving history back from the Sync server.
Same for all the other data types, on or off. But disabling a data type won't clear any data type from any device- what's been sync'd stays on the device.

Thanks! I'll just uncheck History on all my devices then.
I'm finding that disabling History sync on one device disables it on all devices. It doesn't appear to be device specific as the answer suggests.
Also the screen shot appears to be from an older version of FF, not the current 59.
