There are no addresses in any of my address books today. All were there yesterday. The only unusual activity yesterday was to re-install Skype. I have uninstalled and re-installed Thunderbird, but it's the same. My gmail account is working normally using Firefox, all addresses are there. I've tried importing email addresses from gmail but the WLM contacts list is also blank in Thunderbird. Can anyone help, please ?

Do you have any *.mab files in your profile, or even anywhere else on your HDD?

Thanks for the reply, there are several abook.mab files, a couple in Windows.old, and some in AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird. Could I have some help on what to do next please ?

Thank you Zenos, I've managed to replace the abook.mab file with an old one on the HDD and most of the lost addresses are back.

I was able to restore my book.mab from a backup - just curious as to why this just happened yesterday (March 2) to me? The corrupted file timestamp was around 10pm Pacific Time.
