How do I lower the volume of my Thunderbird/Lightning Calendar's Reminder Sound? Mac OS : 10.9.5 Thunderbird : 60.4.0 Lightning : 6.2.4 I can go to Thunderbird > Preferences > Calendar > Reminders and then select or deselect "Play a sound", and I can Browse to a different sound if I want, but I don't want to turn the sound off or change which sound file plays, I just want to lower it's volume. How do I do that?

It might be troll, it might be droll, but it is also your only option that I am aware of. I have never ever heard of a volume control in Thunderbird.
