like the attached image showed, in other browsers (like chrome), when I search a word, it not only highlight the words in page, but also show the locations beside the scroll bar to indicate the locations of these words in page, which is very helpful.

Thanks for your reply, I have carefully read this page before, and have not found what I need.

Tell me if I need more explanation of the problem I have addressed in the question.

Also, I have updated the image with some comments, by which I hope can make myself a little more clear

Thanks, I have tried this add-on too, it failed to show the locations.

I think this question is more like a proposal of feature request, is here a right place to post this? if not, I will close this
