Often, but no always, when I try to insert a link into an email I'm presented with "#composer_signature" when I right-click (in order to paste the link address) in the 'Link Location' box of the 'Link Properties' pop-up.

This is on a Dell Inspiron M5040, Windows 10 Home (10.0.17134).

That would happen if you have a 'named anchor', #composer_signature, in your message, probably connected to a signature. It looks like a bug, but in the meantime use Ctrl+V to paste a link in the location box.

Thanks, yes the Ctrl+V worked. And I see that this happens when I'm replying to an email that contains a "Sent from my ….." signature.

Thanks again.
