If you swip down from the top of the screen, you should a number of notifications from Firefox for Android for you to read and then clear by swiping them to one side.

If you swip down from the top of the screen, you should a number of notifications from Firefox for Android for you to read and then clear by swiping them to one side.

Thank you. I searched a little more and found it disappeared when I turned off app notoifications in the notifications section of Android settings, so I did not try your solution, which might be less of a blunderbuss approach.
