Why is Thunderbird 68.4.1 completely f***** up?
Thunderbird 68.4.1 completely fucked up my Thunderbird account. Why can't you make a simple rollback rather than have to spend hours trying to install an earlier version AND THEN PRAY THAT IT ACTUALLY F***** WORKS!

if you want support, we will try and assist you. But I will not tr and assist you if your only intent is to swear like a troop and offer exactly zero useful information as to what you perceive to be wrong. IF you want a swearing competition, that is fine, but be warned you will have to be pretty good to outdo me. But this in not the place for that or your apparent disregard for the family nature of this forum. You are warned. your language gas to be G rated.
What I can tell you is about the worst thing you can do it try and install an old version. Lots of folks do it, then regret it when everything just gets worse.
Why on gods green earth would they change the ability to load old profiles without an easy import tool? I tried advice to get old profiles to work, they do not. Why, why WHY do this. I am so hugely disappointed with thunderbird. This has cost me a profile with a decade worth of saved emails. WHY?? Incredibly short-sighted move. Incredibly disappointed. - Rick

I assume you read my last post on this thread and still you posted an off topic comment on it. I am not sure what your issue is, but I have answered that question probably 100 times since Thunderbird 68 came out. There is not import because one is not needed!
There is an about:profiles option that allows you to select the profile to use on a particular day or version of Thunderbird. from those registered with the current version. https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/2019/09/i-lost-my-profilemail-on-update-to.html
Or you can follow the advice given in your own topic where you are told to use the profile manager. I prefer about:profiles as it does not rely on people being able to manage a command line option.
