I talked with Constant Contact and they said that they only support Firefox versions 41 or higher. The current Firefox desktop version is 74. The latest update for the iPad is version 23.0. Does the 23.0 on the iPad at all correlate to the 74 on the desktop? If not, then when I am running the "desktop" version on my iPad am I that far behind the latest true desktop version?

Selecting 'Request Desktop Site' does not load Firefox v73. So it does not magically transform or load Firefox Desktop. You are still using the Firefox for iOS. The 'Request Desktop Site' command simply tries to load the full-blown desktop version for big screens. Most website or web applications like Wordpress, Mailchimp... natively support Firefox for iOS. Due to the browser market share some services do not fully Firefox for iOS. They won't optimise their web service for Firefox for iOS. Thus, some feature are not fully supported or a incompatible browser message shows up.

Firefox Desktop and Firefox for iOS are two separated products. Firefox for iOS was developed specifically for the iPhone/iPad. Firefox for iOS does not provide the same feature set in comparison to original Firefox desktop application. In fact it is missing a lot of functionality.

As pointed out the only workaround would be to switch to the Desktop version (More information about Viewing Desktop Sites on Firefox iOS). If you don't see any bugs, you can still use Firefox for iOS. Otherwise you have switch to Safari.

Thanks for the reply Howdytom. I am, and have been, running the desktop version of Firefox, but Constant Contact I seeing is it with a version number lower than 40 - 23. Nothing close to the current Firefox version 74. Interesting. What else is interesting is that I run a number of other applications, actual online in the browser like Constant Contact, in the Firefox desktop version with no problem. Wordpress, Mailchimp, and others. So, when I load the desktop version of Firefox on my iPad am I actually running the same as version 74? If that is the case I will have to encourage Constant Contact to do an update.

Thanks again.
