I mistakenly deleted the subfolder "History Older Than 6 Months" under the main "History" folder. How do I restore that folder? I was trying to determine how to delete all that history in that folder since there are a lot of them all at one time instead of a page at a time. I searched through other support items but didn't find anything that addressed this. Windows 10, latest Firefox.

Firefox doesn't keep a backup of the history, so you would need an older copy of places.sqlite (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder to restore the lost history.

You can look at a utility to browse System Restore points for an older copy of places.sqlite.

The places.sqlite database stores bookmarks and history, so you lose bookmarks added at a more recent time if you restore an older places.sqlite copy. You can probably restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder or create a new backup.
