TB 78.4.0 How can I switch off automatic PGP encrypting of drafts?
Hi,
I've just successfully added an openPGP key pair to my email account settings. Tests show that it works.
Now, when saving a draft, TB encrypts the draft even when I have selected "don't encrypt" for the email I'm writing.
Switching off draft encryption was possible long back in an openPVP menu which does not seem to exist any more.
How can I switch off draft encryption on TB 78.4.0?

I don't think you can with TB78. For OpenPGP, a draft is saved encrypted, if a key for the current identity/account is configured.
What's wrong with draft encryption?

In principle the option for draft encryption is ok. But like with anything that has consequences for data accessibility, this option ought to be user customizable, ideally for each draft separately, like the way it is being handled for the actual sending of emails to a recipient.
Currently, I'm trying to figure out how TB 78.4 handles PGP encryption, and I don't find it too intuitive. So I still keep creating new test key pairs in order to learn like a child in a sandbox, while at the same time I need to be able to use TB productively like a grown-up. I'd hate to write a long draft and later on not be able to open it because something with the sandbox keys went wrong.
Later on, I might be wanting to access my drafts folder via a web client from somewhere else by visiting a webpage at my email provider, where I wouldn't have access to encryption but still might want to be able to resume a draft and send it unencrypted. I wouldn't be able to access this draft if it has unwantedly been encrypted by TB (in fact, I send most of my emails unencrypted, because a lot of the people I communicate with have no idea how email encryption works, and I can't require them to learn it, so getting the draft encrypted and afterwards sending the email unencrypted doesn't make any sense at all).
I'm sure that I will come across more reasons not to want to get the drafts encrypted, in the future.
If this really hasn't been built yet, I'd like to ask the developers to please do so - make it customizable / switch-offable.
