How do I autosend an email on a specified date? MS Outlook allows you to set a date & time to send an email instead of sending it immediately. Is that possible with Thunderbird? If so, how do I set it up? I found the "Send Later" option that moves the email to the Outbox and doesn't send it. If I use this option, will the email stay in the outbox until I send that specific email or will it be sent when I compose another email and send it? Thanks,

There's a popular add-on for scheduling emails:

https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/send-later-3/

Note that TB must be open at the scheduled time for this to work. Some services like gmail also have scheduled sending, which will work independent of TB if you set it up on the gmail website.

The built-in Send Later stores messages in the Outbox, and they are only sent when you select File/Send Unsent Messages. Until then, messages can be composed and sent without affecting the Outbox.
