I have an issue where mouse clicks are mapped incorrectly in FF88. If I left click on an action a new tab is opened. If I left click on a tab, not the exit x, it closes the tab. Sometimes it leaves the wheel scroll active as well.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

more options

Yes software is up to date 88.0.1 Same result in troubleshoot mode. This is only happening in Mozilla (Filefox and Thunderbird).

Odd though is that late in the day yesterday things were normal but this morning issue is back.

Noticed also when I press left button the scroll icon appears.

I did try MS Edge and these events do not happen.
