Dear Firefox community, I do not know why you are not solving your browser-short time memory loss problem! When I download a video / file, the internet is disconnected in the middle, and it takes a while to connect, then the download starts again from 0%! It wastes both my time and the internet. If the power connection is disconnected while downloading again - I don't get any backup of that file when I connect to the internet after the power connection is restored ...! However, other browsers have this advantage. I like Firefox a lot, but this short time memory loss system bothers me a lot. I hope to fix this issue in the next update. What is causing your internet to fail? Have you contacted your ISP?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.


This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

http://www.freedownloadmanager.org It is a powerful modern download accelerator and organizer for Windows and Mac.

Giving a link to a download manager is not a solution. And it is not necessary to know what kind of service my ISP provides. And I don't think I can explain my problem to you. I may be disconnected during the download. And in that case, I want my download to start all over again. This is what I want even when the internet is disconnected. -thank's again
