Using Thunderbird on the desktop. v 102.x.

Planning to use K9 on Android.

Is there a simple way to export only the account settings from Thunderbird, that can then be imported into K9.

Not looking for email export, sync etc., just account settings. Message filter export would be a bonus.

Perhaps there is a part of json or some other file that can be worked with to make this happen?

Thanks in advance.

Of course, glad to read about the upcoming sync features etc. after Mozilla’s purchase of K9 - but would be useful to have this account settings export to K9 feature now.

Many things would be useful now. But we get what the developers have time for in each release. So sync should come with V115 as for the k9 port to Thunderbird. I have seen no updates as to when that might see the light of day.

Of course, in free software, what the developers have time for is what gets included.

The request made here was to request developers to include this within their scope of what they make time for, when possible, given that the time line for v115 is undefined, as yet.

Thanks to the developers for considering and for this excellent Thunderbird email app.
