Hiding Horizontal Tabs (Teee Style Tab)

more options

I recently downloaded Tree Style Tab. I still see the horizontal tab bar. I would like to hide it. However, I have tried just about every answer I could find on Mozilla, Google, Reddit, and any other websites that offered solutions. Nothing has worked since the last update. This includes the "type in about:config, toggle to true, open profile folder, create userChrome.css file, copy and paste xyz code, save, and restart Firefox" route.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, you are on the right track that you need a style rule in a userChrome.css file, but if your rule isn't doing anything at all, there might be a typo somewhere or the file might be in the wrong location. One thing that sometimes happens on Windows is that there ends up being a hidden .txt file extension on your userChrome.css file.

Could you double-check your steps against the steps on my page here: https://www.userchrome.org/how-create-userchrome-css.html
