I have a tab named "untitled" that appeared after an automatic update to Firefox was completed. I cannot close the tab and my Google connection has disappeared.. I have the opening Firefox page but no search capabilities. I did not initiate the automatic update.

I too have this exact same problem. I cannot get rid of this untitled document no matter what I do. Firefox is useless to me until I can get rid of this

Thanks, Papadennis.............I did a system restore and that worked until I opened Firefox this morning and the automatic update occured again and................no Google and the untitled document was back. I can't figure out why I can't get rid of the untitled document. Does Firefox have a toll free number? I really need to get this resolved and don't want to do a system restore every time since it erases some posts and other activities. If you hear anything, please let me know.
