When I try to click on a link within an application, I get the warning 'are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?' It is extremely irritating and I would like to eliminate the warning all together.

This issue can be caused by one of the gadgets (Smiley?) on the Facebook page. You will have to check that out by removing each of them until you find the culprit. If you added or updated gadgets recently than start with those.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
