In the start up page of firefox I'm missing my;..file,edit,view,fav,tools & help bar, also, the back & forward arrows, the only bars that are on show are; most visited, getting started, latest headlines, & below that; AVG, search, & page status.

Try pressing the alt key on your keyboard, that should bring up the menu bar temporarrily, then use View -> Toolbars -> and put a tick/check against the menu bar and navigation bar.

If you hold the alt key and in turn press V T N keys it does something similar.

You may in some cases need to use the restore defaults or customise/customize options to bring things back to the way they were. And in some cases a extension or plugin may be causing the changes. For more information look at
