After upgrading to firefox v4.0.1, I don't see my Identity Safe button from Norton Anti-virus software. Identity Safe is used to automatically populate my logon information at various web sites. I also went to my Norton Anti-virus program and logged in to Identity Safe application but this software appears to be completely disabled with this implementation of the new Firefox version. Can you tell me how to recover it?

The core functionality (firewall and anti-virus) will still be working, it is the add-ons that have been disabled.

Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1. They have indicated they will be doing this very soon, for details see http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Norton-product-compatibility-with-Firefox-Updates/m-p/443808
