I am not sure about the Yahoo toolbar but the Google toolbar is no longer supported by GOOGLE. See their announcement: http://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/answer.py?answer=1342452&topic=15356
Most of the Google toolbar's functions are already easily available on Firefox, a support article may get written about that, meanwhile look at Google's own announcement.
P.S.
The Yahoo toolbar is apparently not compatible with the current or last release of Firefox see this post: /questions/858702

Thx mha007 and John99. You were a great help. Now I know that google has dumped FF forever. As far as Yahoo Toolbar, when I opened my computer and clicked on FF6 my yahoo homepage opened and the yahoo toolbar opened and scrolled as if nothing has happened. It seems it took the yahoo people 24 hrs to make it compatible and working but funny enough hahahahahahhaahah yahoo toolbar on IE9 is not functioning properly anymore since this morning.......................I guess they have a bug and they r fixing it. Thx again.
Thanks for posting back, it is good news for the Firefox Yahoo Toolbar users then.
This keeps happening EVERY time Firefox updates. Its tiring. Wonder if I should update or wait???
