Cannot go to any website. I receive this error message every time I try: "http//----- is not a valid Win32 application"

Cannot connect to any website, no matter what the web address, the message states that it "is not a valid Win32 application". Have never experienced this before and I've been using Firefox for years.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
