I noticed today when at Craigslist that auto complete now presents me with a list of choice that I've never used. Example i entered 'water' I'm shown 'waterstones' 'waterloo' 'water world'.

I recently did a windows 7 update so maybe this is the cause.

HELP, this is driving me crazy.

Thanks

Is that a search window which is coming up with those suggestions?

Yes the search window in craigslist.

It used to only display those words I had previously searched for, now it is all but useless.

The website search may have been changed to offer standardized suggestions. Usually a feature like that can be turned off in user prefs for that website, if Craig's List has that type of feature and you are logged in when you do a search.

I don't see anything on the Craigslist page I go to. Now that I'm there it is back to not giving me results I never entered.

Strange, I don't believe I was hallucinating, but if it is fixed I'll admit to it.

Thanks for your assistance.
