how do i change the oepning page? my old e-mail provider no longer exisits and it keeps saying 'server not found' (of course!) . I want to change it to open to my g-mail account

This page would work to bring up your GMail inbox

Simple steps to set home page:

  1. Tools > Options > General\
  2. At the top: When Firefox starts: Start my Home page\
  3. for Home page, type or paste in the url you want for your home page
  4. Press " Ok" at bottom of dialog
