Trying Firefox Nightly. Love it but have detected first issue. I got a message stating "Additional Plugins required to display all the media on this page". When I hit the "Install missing plugins" tab the 2 Java plugins were deemed to be up to date but I got the message that "No Suitable plugins were found". I don't know what to do from here. Any suggestions?

I checked my plugins. They have all been disabled. The only plugins which are functioning are the 2 Java plugins. What do I need to do to get the others working in Nightly?

Try Disabling them both and check if you can browse the websites.

Did you perform the following suggestion as mentioned in the 2nd article provided in my first reply ??

Check and tell if its working.

Found myself going around in circles. The only plugins I have are: Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U29 and Java Deployment Toolkit 6.0.290.11

I tried down deleting pluginreg.data as per instruction but it kept coming back despite being in the Recycle Bin.

When I checked my plugins from my older 32 bit Firefox browser I could not update them as I was prevented from enabling this function.

In frustration I tried downloading the Flash to suit the 64 bit Firefox Nightly. It would not download as it stated that I had Firefox running, so would not budge.

Any suggestions....other than revert to the 32 bit version of Firefox. I'll use 64 bit IE before I do that.

Can you post a link to pages where you see it?

Your More system details list only shows the Java plugin and it is possible that you need other plugins for that website.

I managed to eventually down load the latest Flash. Once I found the small country tab at the bottom of the download and selected the correct country it worked.

The only thing I now need is to get a couple of the add ons which I had in 32 bit Firefox. Don't know if Nightly supports any of them. Is there a way to check. Thanks.

Try this extension: Add-on Compatibility Reporter 0.9.2

Check and tell if its working.

The response I get with almost every Firefox add-on is "May be incompatible with Firefox 10.0a1". Nightly is fast but then so are a couple of other new browsers. It is a problem that no add-ons seem to work. Any ideas....I would like to retain Firefox as my main browser but I won't be using a 32 bit browser again.

Firefox 10 Nightly builds are quite a few version ahead of the Firefox 7 release version and extension may get broken in that version.
The Nightly branch is meant for testers only and you need to accept that things like can get broken at any time.

There is a daily thread to discuss issues with the latest Nightly build on the mozillaZine Builds forum.
You need to register on the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that Builds forum.
