I was having problems with video and audio on certain sites like youtube. I edited some settings in Realplayer and have video now, but no audio.

Went into preferences on Realplayer, Download and recording, then unchecked "Enable Web Downloading and Recording...". That got video going, but no audio still. (Interesting that the list of browsers below that check box did NOT include Firefox.

You can also try to clear the Flash local storage and settings.

  • Windows Control Panel > Flash Player, click Delete All and Delete Data

Did you also check the setting in the volume mixer when Firefox is using the flash plugin?
