Wenn I download a bibtex-file or a zip-file from a particular site, a html-code of this site appears at the end of the downloaded file. I know for sure that this code doesn't appear in the original file. Wenn I'm using Internet Explorer this problem doesn't occur, only with Firefox. Could you please explain to me what could be the matter of this problem?

With regards, Iryna.

Are you using a special download manager to download the files or the regular build-in Firefox download manager?

Does that only happen with that site?

Sounds that some buffer doesn't get cleared and still has some random data in it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Also make sure that your security software isn't corrupting the files.
