I don't receive any error messages, they are just not there. It takes one or more restarts to fix and it's annoying. I don't have any notable plugins, only Addblock Plus, Lavafox theme, and Yahoo/Adobe/Office things

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Do you get any messages like this?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can try to check and repair the places database with this extension:

I wasn't receiving any error messages, they were just not there. The extension helped and everything is ok now, thanks :)
