Some days ago this problem started. Feels like some buffer filling up, for example when checking out Facebook for too long, or scrolling down on too many info at facebook. Other times it will just fast crash.

Uninstalled it, reinstalled, updated Flash, etc. Nothing. Can bet I am not the only one but have found only questions about this so far on the internet, not solutions.

Thanks!

hello iallende, some other users who have recently updated the graphics driver for their ati hardware (to ati catalyst version 12.8) have reported similar crashes. please try disabling hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general & see if this resolves the issue of frequent crashes.

Thanks! This worked perfectly. Could have wondered for months and never imagine it was the Ati controller. The interface looks a bit raw now but I hope Ati fixes this in their next release.

Thanks!!
