Lost all my bookmars data after reinstalling.
Ok so I do not know why, but I have reinstalled firefox many times before, and the bookmarks are always there. But this time, after I reinstalled, All of my bookmark data are gone.
- I've tried the solution where you import the JSON file but the strange thing is, I only have one JSON file, and it is today..... which is no help because I didn't mark any bookmarks today so it won't work..... I see people say you are suppose to have more than one JSON file in there, but how come I only have one... And it is the most recent?
And I don't know if it is this problem, but right before that I did a system restore, but it is not too long ago, it is restore to 7-24-2013.... so.. Does this affect it?
Because After the system restore, my firefox looked all messed up, blurry texts etc. So I reinstalled it. And after that all my bookmarks are gone... it can't be!! I have ....like a thousand bookmarks for real... Someone help!! what is the problem? how do I fix it? thank you very much!!!

Oh and just to make more clear, when uninstalling, I DID NOT select remove all my personal data. So how can it be gone.....
Did you notice anything else missing?
Let's check for a second profile folder. Open your currently active profile folder using:
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
If you navigate up a level, do you see any other profile folders? If so, check those for a recent bookmark backup.
If Firefox is running in the wrong profile, you can switch using the Profile Manager. This article has the steps: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles.
I recommend that you NOT delete any profiles without backing up all of them, just in case something bad were to happen. This article has backup suggestions: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.
Try to undo the System Restore to see if that brings back the bookmarks or at least older JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder. Then you can save those files.
Note that you should be cautious with doing a system restore as this can lead to program corruption and other dataloss (you never know which files will be removed or restored to older versions).
