Whenever I load a site in firefox, it almost always can not find the server and I'll need to refresh countless times to get it to connect. And if it does, about half the time it is loaded in basic text, and I'll need to refresh it yet again. I've been trying to solve this problem but I can't. Any help?

Is it the same sites or all of them? Try these out;

Clear the Cache Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

and

Remove Cookies Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Open your firewall program. First check the settings. Make sure that the program is set to tell you if a new program wants access to the web. Then go to the list of programs the firewall has. Make sure that all the programs you want to access the web are set to ALLOW. If it is set to AUTO, the firewall may not allow access.
