I had a virus and when the tech department finished clearing it some of my FF add-ons were missing and I can't find the one that grouped my tabs; using an icon at the right end of my URL bar. I found one with a similar icon; called "Tab view" and installed it, but the icon doesn't get added to the URL bar; and I'm not even sure it's the one I was using or if that is a FF option and not an add-on.

I also re-installed Roborm on my computer and checked the Firefox option; but it did not load the Roboform toolbar that was there before the virus. I checked View toolbars and they are all checked.

I'm pulling my hair out!

Is this what you're looking for?

  1. Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize.
  2. From the Customize Toolbar window, click and drag the "List all tabs" icon onto a toolbar. This icon has a "Tab Groups" option at the top, and a list of all open tabs below that.
  3. Click the Done button to close the Customize Toolbar window.

You have an old version installed (7.8.6.5 as opposed to 7.9.5.7).

  1. Exit all browsers.
  2. Right-click the Roboform icon in the taskbar notification area. This icon may be hidden, and you may first have to click the > symbol to display the box of hidden notification icons.
  3. From the menu, open the Help category, then choose Check for Update. In case of problems, simply download the installer from the Roboform homepage and run it while all browsers are closed.
  4. Once Roboform is installed, you can show or hide the toolbar by right-clicking an empty area of the Firefox tab bar and clicking Roboform Toolbar in that menu.

  • Yes! That's it!!! I was beginning to realize I was looking in the wrong place but never expected to find it there. Thanks so much.

I would say more often than not, when I install an add-on it appears to do nothing. I can't find an icon to invoke it. I end up up uninstalling it.

What we need is a button on every install page called "how to invoke" that shows you an image of the icon you are looking for and where it is..
