Copy to memory error message
Hello all,
First time posting on the forum. I would need some help from more experienced users.
The new software I use at work produces data in form of tables. These tables are then copied in a specific way to pc memory and then pasted in spreadsheet. There is a special copy icon in the software which copies the data on screen as well as the current date, the date of the data produced and so on.
Firefox is not installed by default on work pc - only IE is and it is very slow with our data software. I am using a portable version of Firefox which runs swiftly but we have a slight problem which is a major dealbreaker. When we click on the icon in the software to copy data to memory, a small message window appears :
To enable this functionality with your browser, you must type about:config in the url bar, search for signed.applets.codebase_principal_support using the filtering field, and enable this parameter with a double click.
As per research, I have seen that the option to copy to memory has been disabled in current versios of Firefox. However, is there any workarounds to this problem keeping in mind that selecting data and copy paste directly from the software screen is not an option as I will be losing some important info and the formatting will be wrong.
Many thanks.

Hey,
See this bug comment why it was disabled : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=546848#c57 Please do not post on bugs.
Is there a way to save your information to a file and send that?
