There have been several updates since the initial change to the Australis Theme. I originally had some problems with the contrast of colors in the Bookmark drop-down menu, but was able to overcome the problem with the use of the Classic Theme Restorer add-on.

However—

I have never overcome the fact that the bookmarks are no longer highlighted with a mouse-over. Will this bug ever be addressed? Being visually handicapped, it’s a little awkward without the highlight function, and as near as I can tell, the Classic Theme Restorer add-on doesn’t address that problem.

Other than that, I’m actually quite happy with the new theme.

Thank you.

Is the problem on the Bookmarks menu from the top menu bar (Alt+b), or using the new two-part button on the toolbar (star on the left, clipboard on the right), or using a different button?

Also, what is the background color of the menu on your Firefox?

I apologize for not beimg more specific.

My issue is with the clipboard icon. That view wouldn’t accept my system colors (black backgrounds with light font) until I installed the Classic Theme Restorer add-on and made some tweaks. It was white font on a white background before I did this, but it has never highlighted a bookmark or a bookmark folders contents via a mouse-over.

Alternately, I keep the Menu bar open all the time and use the bookmark tab, which has always accepted system colors and highlights bookmarks on a mouse-over. Nevertheless, this is really, simply a work-around for what appears to be a bug in the clipboard icon’s view.

I was simply thinking how clean & smart the theme truly is—if I didn’t have to have my Menu bar open all the time. That the themes still has a bug with the bookmarks display via the clipboard icon. I can fix the contrast issue with the add-on, but I cannot restore the highlight function to that particular view.

I attached a screenshot, but unfortunately you cannot see my mouse pointer, but you can see the bookmark highlighted in the Menu bar view, not in the Clipboard Bookmark view.

Thank you for responding.
