Playing video in Firefox stutters throughout, when I watch the same on Chrome, there's no problem and plays smoothly. Lot's of people have this issue. Fix?
Playing YouTube and other online videos in Firefox is frustrating because the video always stutters and doesn't play smoothly. It stop advancing while the audio continues and then the video jumps to catch up to the audio and you miss the frames in between. Playing the exact same videos through Chrome shows no such issue. There a complaints about this since before 2010 all over the internet when I try to search for a resolution.
I've tried disabling the hardware acceleration and increasing the browser.sessionstore.interval to 60000 and still it happens.
When will this issue be resolved? Can you recommend any fixes to try?
