Icons on various websites not showing up.
Early last week, I downloaded a new font and the font settings in my browser were changed automatically to the new font. I went into the Option Page on the browser and reset the default browser font to Arial. However since then, the icons on several webpages do not display. I have attached a couple of screenshots to demonstrate. How can I reset the browser so that the pages display correctly?

Missing icons are usually supplied by a font that is downloaded from the server (@font-face) as you might see by little boxes that show the hex code of the characters instead.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
You can check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config page and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).
Changing the settings as you suggest does indeed restore the icons. Unfortunately, when I allow the pages to choose their own font, it reverts to the new font I downloaded and absolutely despise. Apparently Helvetica sets itself as default font, even over Arial. I needed it for a specific design project, but I guess I'm going to have to remove the font if it screws up my system settings. Thanks for your input.
Maybe look at this extension and only use the document fonts if you really need them.
