Firefox will not open after Lollipop 5.0.1 on HTC one M8
I have the same issue as multiple others have posted. Have an HTC One M8 It was working great with Firefox until the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update was installed today. Now Firefox does not work - simply opens and crashes at count of 5. Wants to send report. Restart, does same thing. Tried - Uninstalling and reinstalling (latest version through GooglePlay). Clearing cache. Booting into recovery and clearing cache partition. None of these items fixed the issue. Please fix Firefox for my phone soon! I am a website developer and need my Firefox. Not to mention I don't care for those other options. Though Chrome and Dolphin seem to be working fine. Please don't make me use these other guys. Thanks!

Hi webtechgal:
We hope to have a fix for this in Firefox 36.0.2 and/or Firefox 37 beta soon. Don't have a firm schedule. Guessing end of this week?
You can track the progress here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1140830
Thanks for your patience! Let's hope we get this fixed soon!
Cheers!

YES! Updating with 36.0.2 from GooglePlay did solve the crash problem with my HTC One M8. Thank you all for your work on fixing this problem. I was missing my Firefox! Glad to have it back!
