Drop Downs Blank in Firefox desktop after upgrade to latest version
After my firefox upgraded today the drop downs on a page that has always worked in Firefox started showing blank. I did not change the page or the code on the page but the drop downs are now blank. I did not change any of my settings and it is showing blank.
http://www.dessertdietplan.com/eat-this-dessert/?lp=n&video=bypass - then click add to cart buttons you will then see drop downs that are showing blank.
The only thing I found is that if I uncheck Hardware acceleration in my settings they start working. My settings have always been the same and the page has worked. Our customers will not know to uncheck this common setting to see dropdowns. Is there anyway to fix this issue without having to recode the entire dropdown menu code?

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

I have already tried the steps you have mentioned with a clean install the page does not work on Firefox new install. The drop downs worked and then firefox installed the newest update. I reinstalled my firefox with all clean settings. I reset my firefox and the drop downs still dont work. With fresh install of the latest version that tells me the issue is the newest changes to firefox not my code. Our customers are not savy enough to play around with disabling settings in firefox to make a page work. Is there any other suggestions you can make that will allow the drop downs and code set to work with the latest Firefox updates?
I just tested this page in Firefox 37, 37.0.1, 37.0.2, 38, and 39. The drop downs work fine, and are not blank, in every new version of Firefox.
This issue is most likely being caused by a combination of new hardware acceleration options in Firefox and your computer's specific graphics hardware. Updating your graphics drivers or disabling hardware acceleration may fix this display issue.
However, the bottom line is that this does not appear to be a more widespread issue from what I can tell.
My companies stakeholder is also having this issue would like a solution that will work across the board for all users. How can I prove that this is not a widespread issue that requires us recoding the dropdowns?
Until I can reproduce this we can't open a bug report. To help me reproduce the issue, type about:support in the Firefox address bar and press 'Enter'. Then click the "Copy text to clipboard" button and paste the results into a reply here.
I'll set up a test environment to replicate your setup as closely as possible.
