Ctrl C shortcut won't work in Firefox main window
I'm using Firefox version 38.0.5, Windows 7 Since updating the Ctrl + C shortcut doesn't work in the Firefox main window. (I can't copy text from any website using Ctrl + C).
Right click and using copy from the menu works perfectly. Ctrl V, and Ctrl X work fine no problem.
Ctrl C works fine when copying text from the address bar and search bar, I just can't copy anything from anything in the main window of firefox.
I've tried running Firefox in safe mode, I've also reset firefox and run a virus scan, but nothing has fixed the problem.
If anyone had any suggestions, that'd be great. Thanks

What are the web site(s) you are having problems.
Make sure what you are trying to copy is text, and not a picture of text.
Yeah, I can't copy text from any website pages. Wikipedia, this forum, google search results, gmail etc.
I managed to solve the problem by installing the English (British) version of Firefox.
I previously had the Irish (Gaeilge) version installed. Hopefully the issue will be resolved in future updates and I can return to using the Irish language version of Firefox!
Hmmmm. I wonder why that makes a difference.

I don't know if this will help;
RightToClick {web link} Stops javascript annoyances such as forbidden right click, forbidden text selection or cascading dialog boxes.
