I can't access my account with my old or new passwords. I was able to see e-mail on my computer but not my smartphone, but now I can't get into it at all.
Couldn't access e-mail on my android--says my account and password don't exist. My account name is sharon_trent@comcast.net, although it gave "signefan" but neither one worked. I changed to a master password, and now I can't get e-mail on my phone or my computer.

Sounds like you need to sort out your password issues with Comcast. Thunderbird does not run on phones and would not have anything to do with that.
Go to the Comcast webmail page and test your login there. If it does not work there fix that first.
