Windows 8. saved all my favorites to a flash drive. Then bought a MAC and used that for a year. Now I went back to a Windows 10 computer. I am trying to get all my organized favorites into Firefox Bookmarks. Cannot import as they were never imported to the Edge on this new computer. All I am working with is my flash drive backup. How can I get them into Firefox? Is there a way to drag them into a folder?? Please advise.

It depends on whether you saved your bookmarks as a HTML or JSON file.

For HTML case: 1. In Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+B (this opens the Library window) 2. Click on Import and Backup 3. Click on Import Bookmarks from HTML... 4. Choose the file you saved on your flash drive.

For JSON case: 1. In Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+B 2. Click on Import and Backup 3. Click on Restore 4. Click on Choose File... 5. Choose the file you saved on your flash drive.

Are you talking about the IE favorites?

Firefox uses its own profile folder to store your personal data.

If you only saved the IE Favorites folder then you would have to restore that folder to its previous location in your user home directory (C:\Users\<user_name>\Favorites). Then you can try to import the IE favorites in Firefox.
