How do I prevent firefox from installing update. The last time I had to reset back two weeks.
The last Firefox update screwed up my computer. I had to boot in safe mode then reset two weeks earlier.

Do you mean you had a problem with Firefox 41, or a different version? For security reasons, you shouldn't stay on Firefox 40 forever.

Hello, Thanks for asking. If you would like the chance to choose whether or not to install an update, go to Menu>Options>Advanced>Update and then check either "Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them" or "Never check for updates.
